Metals in water

Metals in water

Each year thousands of new devices are manufactured, all of them from different brands, capacities, or performances. The point is that people frequently consider those previous devices as obsolete because they don't longer want to deal with them. It means that each year we have thousands of new releases and other thousands of unwanted equipment. Electronics are frequently composed of metals, plastics, and other worthy components. These components are valuable, but they can also pollute the environment whenever they end in landfills or water.

Metals can pollute the land.

Frequently, big countries export their tons of e-waste to non-developed countries, where they end up in landfills polluting air, land, and people's health.

Metals can explode at high temperatures.

No matter if our computers, batteries, or smartphones are new or obsolete, they can all explode at high temperatures.

Metals poison water.

What about those non-functional batteries that end up in rivers, oceans, and lakes? Many places do not have enough water to satisfy survival needs, and many others do not have drinkable water because people had poisoned it with trash, e-waste, chemicals, etc. No matter if your country is clean from those pollutant metals, it is our responsibility to protect our planet.

It is time to start analyzing our consumption habits and find a way to minimize the environmental impact produced by manufacturing processes, material extracting, etc.

Whenever you want to get rid of your IT equipment, look for green alternatives that will not represent a risk for society and the environment. Give your unwanted equipment a second chance!!! ITAD companies can buy those assets for you, recycle your IT devices or support you with a wide variety of professional IT services.
