Where does America's e-waste end up?

Electronic waste (e-waste for short) is a growing concern as our reliance on electronic equipment increases. When devices are discarded, they often end up in landfills, where they can have negative impacts on the environment and the health of people living nearby. In addition, much of the e-waste produced in our country is shipped overseas, particularly to countries with lower labor costs, such as China.
