Can a Circular Economic Model Save the Planet?

We currently live in a linear economy where raw materials are extracted to assemble new products that we will eventually throw away in the garbage. In short, we are living in a take-make-waste system where there is no chance to achieve zero waste, but at least we can do our best to minimize the negative impact due to human overconsumption.
