Have you ever wanted your day to last longer than 24 hours? Sometimes because of the thousands of tasks to be performed every day, more than one person does not have enough time to finish them on time. All we can do is go through the essential things first, and if we have enough time, we will go to the supermarket at the end of the day. Luckily, thousands of apps pick the groceries up for us and here is when we thank tech for making our lives better every time.
How good are these services across the globe?
India has its exclusive app, which is called Dunzo. It was developed in what is known as India’s Silicon Valley; the city of Bangalore, by Kabeer Biswas. It is like a personal assistant that could pick up groceries for you, deliver forgotten laptop chargers from homes to offices or schools, delivering packages, and buying stuff for you. Charges depend on the distance traveled, the task, and the delivery cost (less than a dollar). More than 12,000 small companies pay Dunzo to help them fulfill orders. For now, Dunzo is operating in nine Indian cities, such as New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Biswas is planning to expand his app’s services to at least 25 Indian cities in the next 18 months, and he also added that going global is not a limitation for him.
Its success may remain on being the first of its kind in India, and because it solves real daily troubles at affordable prices. Based on the success of this company, PepsiCo India has recently announced their partnership. Both companies will be working together in delivering some LAY’S and Doritos flavors exclusively for Dunzo.
