In a conference call that the CEO of Arrow, Michael Long had with their investors, he explains that the business dynamics have changed since he entered into this market. What influences the decision to close is the operating loss before taxes for a total of $ 17 million in the second quarter of 2017 in the ITAD division.

"We believe that this business is not sustainable in the long term and is no longer aligned with our strategy. We believe that this will allow us to focus on our long-term strategy to enable next-generation technology, such as artificial intelligence, industrial automation, smart technology cities and vehicles", CEO Long said in the call.

Arrow will no longer receive devices at its facilities after August 5, 2019. According to the statement, the company anticipates that the personal asset and mobility disposal business will be substantially reduced by the end of 2019.
