Roblox vs. Minecraft

Roblox vs. Minecraft

Some gamers play Fortnite, others play FIFA or Minecraft. Videogames are played all around the world, and even when new games are released almost every single day, gamers always go back to their favorite classic games. There is just a comfort zone for all gamers.

Do you remember the old Minecraft and Roblox? Years ago, kids were all obsessed with these videogames. These games became some of the most popular among users recording thousands and thousands of downloads.

In 2006, the world saw Roblox for the first time. It was five years later when the famous Minecraft came into the videogame industry. As time passes and new videogames appear on the market, kids are still obsessed with these iconic “block games”.

While talking about videogames, there are no age limits. This day we see people of all ages buying the new Xbox and the new PlayStation. Users of both videogames are mainly children from 7 to 13 years of age. The last number of users playing Roblox was higher than the ones on Minecraft but, even with these numbers, the kids continue preferring Minecraft under the premise that it has features and surprises almost on every corner.

It would be unfair to compare Minecraft with Roblox because each game has its unique features. Focusing on Roblox, its success has been growing at a point that the company is considering multiple options for going public, but they will give a final decision until 2021. It is crucial to mention that last month Minecraft appeared in first place in the App Store.

Do not be scared if your kids are obsessed with these games. They are completely safe for them, but you must first adjust privacy settings to restrict explicit content on forums or chats. Also, keep your cards away from your kids because the game offers external purchases for special characters and products.
