Cloud gaming service allows people from across the world to play high-end video games on their smartphone or tablet without needing a console or PC. Many companies continue investing in the cloud gaming industry to create more convenient video games and attract new gamers.
The American chipmaker Nvidia began testing its cloud gaming service in January 2018 before the two giants Google and Microsoft, started testing their cloud gaming products. Microsoft's Project xCloud and Google Stadia were both launched in 2019, but Nvidia took its time and finally launched GeForce Now a couple of weeks ago.
GeForce Now is a streaming service developed by Nvidia, but it does not work like Netflix or Prime Video. Most of the games are only available to be installed and stored in the library. In this way, users can get a bunch of games for free, and for those other paid games, users will need the PC game store to expand their library. GeForce Now is an excellent cloud gaming service, offering more than 2,000 games to stream at up to 1080 resolution and 60 frames per second.
Nvidia's cloud gaming is finally here for gamers to try it out. GeForce Now allows a player to game for one hour at a time, and its subscription is available at $4.99 monthly with a promotional 90-day free trial that will let you game for six hours at a time.
